France hosts Iran ‘Minus’

Iranian movie ‘Minus’ has been on the screen in French cinemas.

The film starring Navid Mohammadzadeh has hit big screens in France from July 18, 2023.

Directed by Mani Haqiqi, the film had its international premiere, last year in Toronto International Film Festival.

The film was screened at the US, UK, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, Hong King and Germany.

Costarred by Taraeh Alidousti, the film plans to have screenings in Iran too.

The film takes place in central Tehran and follows the story of Farzaneh, a young driving instructor who sees her husband Jalal walking to a woman's apartment.

When Jalal confronts him, he claims he was out of town for work and decides to check out the building himself. There he meets a woman who is the twin of Farzaneh.
